These have heavy aroma and can make you feel hungry within their environment (really hard to resist 😉 ).

Namkeens are comforting, tasty and filling.

  • Shahi Samosaa
  • Koftaa
  • Namkeen Kaju (Ohh! My favorite)
  • Gaanthiye

Food Specialty of Jodhpur

There is something more than mere taste in the food of Jodhpur. That’s why once someone eats the food he seems like fan of it.

Jodhpuri people love high masala food rather than sweetish food.

Note: If you have heart problems ask your waiter to keep low masala in food.

Onion is a part of nearly every food in Jodhpur (unless intentionally excluded).

Street Food

This is not the end of the list. There is still great food waiting for you to taste.

Like:

  • The Makhaniya Lassi

It is lassi with butter in it. One glass of it can be enough for one day for one person (depends). It has lip-smacking taste.

Chaat has always been favorite of the people of Jodhpur. It is mixture of many stuff.

P.S.: I prefer Bombay Chaat of Pal Road (near Pal Balaji).

This one is totally unique. It is mixture of Kadhi with Jodhpuri Kachori.

P.S.: One shop on C road Sardarpura is famous only for Kadhi Kachori.
